1. Introduction
These Terms & Conditions (‘Terms’) govern your use of Retixx (‘we’, ‘our’, ‘us’), including our website, mobile apps, APIs, and related services (‘Services’).
By creating an account or using our Services, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, you must not use the Services.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old or the age of majority in your jurisdiction to use the Services.
You must not be subject to any trade restrictions, sanctions, or prohibitions that make it unlawful for you to use the Services.
3. Account Registration
You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure.
You may not create multiple accounts to bypass platform rules.
You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information.
4. Ticket Listings (Sellers)
4.1 Seller Eligibility & Registration
Only registered users who have completed the necessary identity verification steps, including providing government-issued ID and proof of ticket ownership, may list tickets for sale. Sellers must be at least 18 years old or the legal age of majority in their jurisdiction.
4.2 Ticket Ownership & Rights
Sellers must legally own the tickets they list. Tickets may not be listed if the seller has already transferred ownership to another party, pledged the ticket as collateral, or is otherwise not authorized to resell it.
4.3 Prohibited Listings
Listings are prohibited for counterfeit tickets, tickets obtained illegally (e.g., using stolen payment details or bots in violation of primary ticket seller terms), tickets explicitly prohibited from resale by event or venue rules, or tickets connected to events deemed illegal in the jurisdiction of sale or purchase.
4.4 Listing Requirements
Each listing must accurately display the event name, date, venue, seating section, row, seat number (where applicable), and ticket type (physical, electronic, mobile transfer). Misrepresentation, including incorrect seating location or event date, is a violation of these Terms.
4.5 Pricing Guidelines & Local Laws
Sellers are responsible for ensuring their pricing complies with applicable resale laws in their jurisdiction and the buyer’s jurisdiction. In some regions, ticket resale prices are capped by law; violating such caps may result in account suspension.
4.6 Ticket Delivery Obligations
Tickets must be delivered to buyers promptly after sale, using the delivery method stated in the listing. For digital tickets, this includes transferring the ticket through authorized platforms. For physical tickets, sellers must use trackable shipping services.
4.7 Seller Verification & Proof of Ownership
Retixx may request additional proof of ownership at any time, such as a receipt from the original point of purchase or a screenshot of the ticket in the seller’s account with the primary ticket vendor.
4.8 Handling Event Changes
If an event is rescheduled, sellers are responsible for updating their listing to reflect the new date. If they cannot provide the updated ticket, the transaction will be canceled and the buyer refunded.
4.9 Breach Consequences
Failure to comply with these listing requirements may result in removal of the listing, withholding of payouts, account suspension, and permanent banning from the platform.
4.10 International Resale Compliance
Sellers must ensure compliance with ticket resale regulations in all jurisdictions where the ticket may be purchased. This includes observing rules on resale price caps, transfer restrictions, and event-specific prohibitions.
4.11 Retixx Rights to Modify or Remove Listings
Retixx reserves the right to edit or remove listings that violate these Terms, are misleading, or may harm the platform’s reputation or buyer trust.
4.12 Record Keeping & Audit Requirements
Sellers must retain records of ticket purchases and transfers for at least 12 months after sale, and make them available to Retixx upon request for audit or dispute resolution purposes.
5. Purchasing Tickets (Buyers)
5.1 Buyer Account Requirements
Buyers must have an active Retixx account, be at least 18 years old, and have a valid payment method on file.
5.2 Understanding Listings & Seat Maps
Buyers are responsible for reading listing details thoroughly, including seat location, ticket format, and any restrictions, before purchase.
5.3 Finality of Purchase & Exceptions
All sales are final unless the ticket is invalid, the event is canceled, or a refund is required under applicable consumer protection laws.
5.4 Payment Processing & Currency Conversions
Payments are processed through trusted PCI-compliant providers, including Stripe and PayPal. Currency conversion fees may apply if your payment currency differs from the listing currency.
5.5 Device & App Compatibility for Digital Tickets
Buyers must ensure their devices and apps are compatible with the ticket delivery method, including mobile ticketing platforms, PDF downloads, or app-based entry systems.
5.6 Buyer Responsibility for Event Entry
It is the buyer’s responsibility to arrive at the event with valid tickets, proper identification, and any required proof (e.g., COVID-19 vaccination records if applicable).
5.7 Prohibited Buyer Conduct
Buyers may not purchase tickets with the intent to resell them in violation of local laws, use stolen payment methods, or engage in fraudulent chargebacks.
5.8 Refund Eligibility Conditions
Refunds may be issued if the ticket is invalid, the event is canceled without rescheduling, or in other limited circumstances as outlined in the Retixx Refund Policy.
5.9 Steps to Verify Ticket Upon Receipt
Upon receiving a ticket, buyers should verify that the event, date, seat, and ticket type match the listing description. Any discrepancies must be reported within 24 hours.
5.10 Dispute Resolution Process
If a ticket issue arises, buyers should contact Retixx support immediately with evidence, such as screenshots, receipts, or communication records with the seller.
5.11 International Buyer Protections
Buyers located outside Jordan may have additional rights under their local laws. Retixx will comply with applicable consumer protection laws in the buyer’s jurisdiction.
5.12 Retixx’s Buyer Guarantee Limitations
Retixx’s Buyer Guarantee covers the ticket’s validity and event entry but does not cover personal travel expenses, lost opportunities, or indirect costs resulting from event changes.
6. Pricing, Fees, and Payments
Sellers set their own prices within applicable law.
Retixx charges service and transaction fees, disclosed prior to listing or purchase.
Payments are processed by Stripe, PayPal, and other PCI-compliant providers.
7. Payouts to Sellers
Payouts are issued after successful delivery and verification of ticket authenticity.
We may delay or withhold payouts if fraud is suspected, a dispute is pending, or AML/KYC checks are incomplete.
8. Identity Verification & Fraud Prevention
You agree to comply with identity verification requests, including providing government-issued ID, proof of address, and, where required, biometric verification.
We reserve the right to immediately suspend, withhold funds, and permanently ban accounts engaged in fraud, scalping, or other prohibited conduct, without obligation to reinstate.
9. Event Cancellations & Refunds
If an event is canceled, refunds will be processed according to our Refund Policy and applicable law.
If a ticket is invalid, you must notify us within 48 hours after the event to request a refund.
10. Disputes Between Users
Retixx may mediate disputes but is not obligated to resolve every case.
Decisions made by Retixx in disputes are final unless required otherwise by applicable law.
11. Prohibited Conduct
You may not engage in illegal ticket resale, use bots to purchase tickets, misrepresent ticket details, or harass other users.
You may not interfere with the operation of the Services.
12. Compliance with Laws
You are responsible for complying with ticket resale laws in your jurisdiction.
Retixx operates in compliance with Jordanian e-commerce, consumer protection, and ticketing laws.
13. Intellectual Property
All Retixx content, trademarks, and software are owned by Retixx or its licensors.
You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse engineer our content or software.
14. Limitation of Liability
Retixx is not the event organizer and does not guarantee event admission beyond the terms stated in our Buyer Guarantee.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Retixx is not liable for indirect or consequential damages.
15. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify Retixx from claims, damages, and expenses arising from your misuse of the Services or violation of these Terms.
16. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your account for violations of these Terms, suspected fraud, or as required by law.
Upon termination, any pending payouts may be withheld if linked to prohibited activity.
17. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan.
Disputes will be resolved in the competent courts of Amman, Jordan, unless otherwise required by local consumer laws.
18. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Updated versions will be posted on our website and take effect immediately unless stated otherwise.
